It tends to start with the subtle detail that can be found once someone loses all
concentration and suddenly sees what has been right in front of them. The
gentle light that illuminates the leaves of the tree and the peaceful whisper
as the breeze touches them.Getting lost once again in the lines and following
them until the end. Comeback to the mind and being reassured by a new change
of scenery. It’s not over.

Walking down the street to then stop by the shop. Repair it says, the mind needs
heavy fixing. Take a drag and spark up a conversation with a beautiful soul. Mostly
awkward, having not the best social skills. Feeling lost in the words, they come up
chunky and cluttered. Take another drag and say goodbye.

The next couple minutes become fogged. Overthinking the recent conversation.
Did it sound stupid? Was it too forced?

See a suitable couch to sit on, but proceeds with caution. Imagining its past
ventures and debating whether or not it was of some worth. Keeping on, the
mind starts to wander again.

Lost in the haze of smoke filled thoughts, there was time to take a break. Holding
self to not feel so alone. Imagining someone else’s touch and how it would be so
warm. What a thought.

Misguided thoughts begin to be pushed into the corner. Understanding the self-
esteem issues within that have been holding the mind back. Constant conflict…
It’s still black inside. The ashes hit the floor, turning out the light.
